For fifteen years, until my retirement in 2014, I was on the Stony Brook University editorial staff.

There I developed and wrote the undergraduate viewbook and collateral materials, academic brochures, web features, and many dozens of profiles of students, faculty, and alumni that were used in various publications and on the university website. I also wrote and edited advertorials, college guide articles, email campaigns, and whatever else came my way. Usually with a deadline of yesterday.
